Paul “The Mauler” Lazenby is an actor, stuntman, pro wrestler, champion powerlifter, kickboxer, author, and mixed martial artist. You’ve seen his stunt work in some of the biggest films and television series to pass through Vancouver, including Deadpool 2, The Flash, Arrow, The 100, Riverdale, and Lost in Space. His acting credits include Dumbbells, a funny web series about gym stereotypes, and the upcoming Telus Optik series Paper Champions, about wrestlers. He’s also the driving force behind When We Were Bouncers, a series of books in which famous actors, athletes, and others tell insane stories of their days guarding the velvet rope. In this wildly entertaining interview, Paul talks with Sabrina Furminger about #stuntlife, his fascinating career journey, and his mad love for librarians, chiropractors, and the Vancouver film and television industry.
