Life XP stars Cassandra Ebner as Angela, a hapless bookstore employee who is fired by her mom and takes on a job as a VR game tester even though she has zero experience in the gaming realm. It’s a far cry from Cassandra’s actual origin story: growing up in a gaming household; creating hundreds of YouTube videos; living for rugby and The Guild and Tomb Raider; parlaying all of these passions into a busy career as a stunt performer and actress in the Vancouver screen scene. This week, Cassandra levels up with Life XP. The digital series was written by Cassandra and directed by veteran stunt artist and filmmaker Trevor Addie. Life XP mixes the passion of indie film with the production value of a CW superhero show. The series  – which also features Enid-Raye Adams (You Me Her, Hospital Show) as Angela’s mom – launches on Tuesday, November 5, and to celebrate, newlyweds Cassandra and Trevor join Sabrina Furminger in the YVR Screen Scene Podcast lab to discuss their origin stories, #stuntlife, and the passion and expertise they poured into producing Life XP.
